Can we meet?

This is one of the most important aspects for me. Getting a feel for each other's personalities is extremely important. I would love to sit down for coffee, hear your story and find out what your dream wedding is all about.

I am based out of Nanaimo and will be happy to meet halfway if you are on the Island, but not from Nanaimo. If you are really far away we can chat on the phone or Skype.

How soon should we book and how do we go about it?

The sooner the better. I often reserve dates 6-18 months in advance, but I also book some weddings a few months before hand too. Inquiring about a date never hurts. I cannot 'hold' dates as I may have multiple inquires for the same date. In order to reserve your date I require a 40% retainer and completed model release/contract. Once these are received I will no longer be available to anyone else inquiring about your date.

How far do you travel?

I travel anywhere, but due to travel expenses (gas, flights, hotel and travel time) some locations require a travel fee.

What are digital proofs?

All my clients get digital proofs. These are 600x900 resolution images with a small watermark in the corner. This allows my clients to quickly preview their photos before ordering prints and albums. A full resolution unwatermarked digital collection can also be purchased.

What are event cards?

Event cards are a complimentary 3"x4" card, with a picture from your wedding and a link to your online gallery. These can be included with your Thank You cards to your guests so they can see how beautful your wedding was.

How long until we get our photos and album?

All photos will be fully edited and delivered within 30-45 business days after the event. Albums usually take a total of 8 weeks for creation, printing, binding and shipping.

Yes! I apply my unique look in the editing room. Every photo is professionally edited. Some receive simple touch ups, colour adjustments and cropping, while others will get extensive artistic work including colour filters, skin softening, sharpening and blemish removal and the list goes on. A typical full day wedding will take about 3-4 weeks to complete the editing process.

Do you edit all the photos?

How many photos will be get back?

Usually half day wedding packages will have 200-300 images and full day packages contains 400-600 images.

Lifestyle sessions are usually 20-30 images.

No worries. I shoot in a style that is less traditional allowing couples to feel at ease and not stare down the lens of a giant camera. It is more about them enjoying the company of one another. I will make sure I tell you what to do without you feeling awkward. It will be the best part of the day.

What if I don't like having my picture taken...
