I have recently became friends with Tobi and Joy. When they asked me to take their wedding photos I was completely honoured. I never take this privilege for granted. Tobi is a super talented hip-hop artist who records and writes his own music. Joy really enjoys Tobi’s talents, but she has many of her own including her love for working with children as a teacher. We met up for the engagement session downtown Nanaimo for some formal pictures by some of my favourite local Nanaimo urban locations. They were so great to bring a change of wardrobe for our second location at Pipers Lagoon. I have taken so many pictures there, but every time I seem to find somewhere new. Tobi made an awesome transformation out of his dress shirt and tie (which looked great) into a hop-hop inspired outfit. Joy did well to find something that suited the mood too!
