Coast Collective Art Gallery Wedding – Peter + Patrycja

My favourite image from the day

On June 4th I had the treat of taking pictures for Peter and Patrycja at their wedding filled with pink and Poland (the great food and Polish family members).

A really important aspect for Patrycja were the details. She has been completing a wedding planning course and it went to show when I saw how much time she had put into decorating. Pink was everywhere – flowers, table clothes, accents on the cake, napkin ties, and even her amazing shoes. She was so thoughtful to even fill the washrooms with mints, aftershave and all sorts of other refreshing treats.

Her ceremony took place at Coast Collective Art Gallery in Esquimalt, which has amazing grounds for photos and a neat little lagoon. There were so many gorgeous trees that softened the light and gave a cozy garden feel.

The reception followed at White Eagle Hall (Polish Hall) in Victoria with some delicious Polish food and the always mesmerizing chocolate fountain. Getting to experience the reception with so many Polish family members and Peter’s lively family from the US reminded me of a family reunion with my German family. It is always loud and filled with laughter. LOVE IT!

Patrycja’s silk dress had such a beautiful texture to it.
