Filberg Heritage Lodge Wedding – Nick + Sophia (Comox Valley Wedding Photographer)

Nick and Sophia met while attending a friend’s wedding and as that marked their first encounter, who would have known that wedding would lead to one of their own.

I was so honoured when Nick and Sophia made a trip over from Vancouver so we could do their engagement photos. They were so invested in the photography experience and the same held true at their wedding.

Their wedding was at the AMAZING Filberg Heritage Lodge. Here are the things I love about this place:

-Private grounds for the ceremony

-Option for a tea celebration after the ceremony with the yummiest scones in the entire world. It was like biting into a fruity waterfall they were so moist.

-Photos afterwards… Where do I start. The grounds are amazing. You can have forest, trails, grassy hills, fields, log huts, Snow White-like houses, stone steps, iron railing, beach front, tall dry grass and I probably missed a bunch.

After we were done photos we drove 10 minutes to Crown Isle for a gorgeous reception with so many friends and family that flew in from the other side of the world. What a perfect celebration.

Congratulation Nick and Sophia. I am so happy to share these photos.
