BJ and Jenn have the greatest chemistry with one another. They are both kind, gentle and genuine people, but one thing that they have in common that they made sure to include in their wedding was their love for all things Disney. Jenn had subtle Mickey pendants on her shoes and jewelry, a Mickey and Minnie cake, tables named after Disneyland attraction, Disney themed water bottles on the tables and the list goes on. It was pretty neat to see them tie this into so many aspects of their wedding and made me wonder what my wedding would have been like if I had tied in my love for Star Wars!
The ceremony was held at Puntlege Park in Courtenay where Jenn had many family memories of their time spent at the river that runs through the park. The location worked out great with the wedding party first entering over a small bridge and eventually winding their way down the isle. The trees made for some nice soft light and a gorgeous green backdrop. I really enjoyed seeing the smiling faces from both sets of parents as BJ and Jenn pronounced their vows.
The location BJ and Jenn picked out for their portraits was absolutely perfect. Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park in Comox gave them a setting that felt like a scene from Snow White. There were tons of cute log huts, trellises, towering tress, and a cottage with old rock work. We spent about 90 minutes there with their wedding party making use of the many different backdrops.
Following the portrait time we made our way to the Comox Legion where we had a great time photographing all the many family and friends that came out to make their day so special. Congrats BJ and Jenn!

Congradulations BJ and Jenn! I remember as if it was yesterday that Trevor warned me he wouldn’t be able see me because he was going to help BJ with his proposal. And here you two are now, hand in hand officaly married! Exciting huh? 🙂
Jenn your dress was stunning, BJ you looked like a true gentelman,and the Disney theme was completely adorable. I so wish i was there to experience the momment for myself!!! judging from the pictures, everyone must have had a wonderful time.(oh yea, jealous person right here)
