I met Matt and Christina last spring (2010) — they were well on-top of their planning. We had a perfect overcast day. No rain and no harsh shadows so everyone was happy. Tigh-Na-Mara Resort in Parksville always does an amazing job putting together a wedding and Matt and Christina were a ton of fun to hang out with that day.

There were 2 things that I will always remember about this wedding.

#1 – Arriving to the photo session location with the wedding party, only to find another wedding party getting pictures done too. No big deal, there was tons of room. Ten minutes into pictures a third wedding party arrived and one of the groomsman from the first wedding yelled out “Let’s all get a picture together!”

#2 – How the decorations reminded me of something I would have done at my wedding – unfortunately I never had this great idea. First I loved the black and white patterned chair covers. Most of all I especially loved the table number theme. It shouldn’t be a surprise since Matt can be heard on the Wolf (a Nanaimo radio station with good tunes) that they love music. Each table number had a picture and band name on it. All of the bands were concerts that Matt and Christina had been to together. I have to say they have fine taste in music.
