If you are considering a wedding a Dolphins Resort this is a great wedding for inspiration.

Emily and Paul had their Dolphins Resort wedding in the fall. Almost all of the images were shot onsite which is what I love about shooting Campbell River weddings there.

All of the rooms are located near each other, which makes bouncing between both getting ready locations great to ensure all the moments are captured. Emily’s room was located right near the water with great views and lovely natural window light for beautiful photos and the hair / makeup artists to do their best work in.

As mentioned, one great thing about Dolphins Resort is that everything can happen on-site including the portraits. It really does offer the perfect west coast backdrop for both the ocean front ceremony AND rustic indoor reception space. Since the reception space has many rich wooden tones I like to setup some additional off-camera strobes to make sure the images are nice lit while preserving the mood of the space.
