I first met Dave and Jenn last summer during their trip out from Alberta to plan their wedding. During their visit to the Island I got to hear about their really cool engagement story. Jenn had won a trip to the Daytona 500 through work and Dave got the idea that it would be a pretty cool spot to propose to her. After spending 2 months designing the engagement ring out of Jenn’s grandmother’s ring they departed for Florida. While they were both checking out the track up close Dave knelt down at the finish line and wrote the BIG question to Jenn… Fast forward a year and half later and I got to document their important day in beautiful Parksville, BC.

Jenn and Dave used one of their engagement photos in this cool frame that held the sand from the sand pouring ceremony.
Dave’s gift to his groomsmen were new Ray-Ban’s. 
We were fortunate to have the tide out during photo time which gave us this really unique terrain to work with.
